Getting Started
1. Let butter get to room temperature before starting.
2. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
3. Line three baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Ingredients
1 cup salted butter softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar packed
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Let's Get Baking
Step 1
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium size bowl.

Step 2
Cream together butter and sugars. Once butter/sugar mixture is beaten well, add the eggs & vanilla and beat to combine.

Step 3
Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Then add the chocolate chips and beat until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 4
Roll 2-3 Tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced (1.5 to 2 inches apart) on prepared cookie sheets. You can also use a cookie scoop to ensure cookies are uniform in size.

Step 5
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until they barely start to turn brown around the edges.

Step 6
Let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes then move to a cooling rack to let cool completely.

Enjoy!
