The branding process for Surfside Seafood initially began with an earth element logo inspired by the essence of water and the dynamic energy of waves. As the brand took shape, the name "Surfside Seafood" emerged, capturing the essence of the vibrant energy of beachside dining. From logo, uniform, and menu design and development, every aspect of the branding process was guided by the central theme of incorporating elements of beach culture, sea-inspired colors, and relaxed coastal vibes. The overall branding reflects the laid-back atmosphere and casual elegance of Surfside Seafood.

Breaks Like Glass
The process of the design for a book jacket for “Breaks Like Glass” began with inspiration from the title itself. Recognizing the metaphorical connection between broken glass and a broken heart, the decision was made to design a book jacket for a romance novel. An image of broken glass symbolizes the emotion and fragility associated with heartbreak. Silhouettes of a man and woman were incorporated into the design adding a scene of emotion and mystery while representing the central characters of the novel. The design elements include a balance of romance and mystery. The color palette of black and deep green plus the bold and elegant typography convey a mood and theme of mystery and romance.

Rhode Island Travel
The design process for a Rhode Island travel postcard was rooted in the natural beauty of the countryside. Inspired by the picturesque landscapes of autumn, the design aimed to capture the essence of the season and attract visitors during the peak leaf season. To capture the essence of fall colors, image editing techniques were utilized to enhance the vibrant hues of the fall foliage. A rich color palette was selected, capturing the warm tones and contrast of autumn. The typography conveys an inviting and modern feel. A decorative leaf border was also added on the back to further enhance the design that echoed the theme of fall foliage.

Newberry College Marching Band
The creative concept behind the project of the retractable banners for the Newberry College Scarlet Spirit Marching Band was focused on creating an eye-catching display to attract new students to join the band. The design aimed to showcase the band's energy, talent, and spirit while incorporating specific branding elements of Newberry College. To achieve this, the design utilized Newberry College's color palette, branded typography, and logo to ensure consistency and reinforce the college's identity. Each banner captures different aspects of the marching band among band members. The process also involved photo editing to ensure the best possible image quality for the banners. This included enhancing colors, adjusting lighting, and optimizing composition to create visually striking visuals that would capture the attention of onlookers.

Newberry College Music Department
The concept behind the music concert poster project was rooted in the idea of music connecting from east to west, all while embracing a fall theme and maintaining a cohesive brand identity for Newberry College. The design features free-flowing music notes that span across the poster, symbolizing the harmonious flow of music through the autumn breeze and highlighting its universal connectivity. The color palette reflects the warm tones of fall, with scarlet red incorporated as a part of Newberry College's branded colors. Through the inclusion of the Newberry logo, typography, and colors, the poster ensures a seamless and continuous branded identity for the college's music department.

Newberry County Humane Society
The Newberry County Humane Society faced the challenge of promoting pet adoption. The solution involved the branding and campaign process centered around the concept of finding the perfect match between pets and potential adopters. A series of three social media campaigns were created to showcase shelter pets through highlighting their different personalities, traits, and preferences that would be similar to future owners. The informational brochure was designed with an easy to read layout providing comprehensive information about the benefits of adopting shelter pets and tips for finding the perfect match. The billboard also added to the campaign, displaying an image conveying the same message. The overall website design served as a central hub for viewers to learn more all while remaining branded and establishing an identity for the Newberry Humane Society. Branding elements of color pallete, font, and design theme were incorporate throughout the project.

Crunchies
Cereal Box
The design process for the Crunchies cereal box began with the concept of creating a cereal targeted towards adults that evokes a sense of nostalgia for their youth. The idea was to develop a cereal that strikes a balance between being healthy and indulgent, featuring fruity flavors with a dusting of sugar. The name "Crunchies" was chosen along with the bolded typography to reflect the playful appeal. To achieve visual interest of the overall composition of the design, the name was featured diagonally across the box. The color palette incorporates neutral tones along with vibrant colors to represent fruity flavors and healthy ingredients. Additionally, other graphic shapes were incorporated to enhance the visual appeal and add to the whimsical nature of the design.

Ice Cream
The objective of the design process for Tillamook ice cream was to achieve a harmonious blend of the brand's premium status and its playful, whimsical characteristics. This involved crafting a new logo that solidified Tillamook's identity as a provider of delicious ice cream, integrating elements of sophistication and a touch of whimsy. Additionally, the label layout was planned to incorporate imagery to enhance visual appeal, while the background and font colors of the label were selected to represent the flavor allowing for easy recognition for consumers.

The branding process for King Soopers, a private grocery label, aimed to enhance its image of quality, superiority, and boldness. It began with the creation of a new logo, drawing inspiration from royalty and excellence. The logo featured a crown symbolizing authority and a bold font to convey strength and confidence. In addition to the logo, a branded packaging strategy was devised to reinforce these qualities. Vibrant colors, elegant typography, and captivating graphics were utilized to create packaging that not only grabbed attention on shelves but also communicated the brand's commitment to excellence and boldness.

In the branding process for Utopia Foods, the design for a plant based cheese is integrated into both the logo and packaging design. Inspired by the ingredients in their products, a leaf serves as a visual representation to reinforce the brand's core values to a commitment to sustainability and natural goodness. Through consistently carrying this leaf design throughout all packaging variants, this ensures a sense of brand unity that enhances recognition and trust.

Oxxford Clothes
The initial rebranding of Oxxford Clothing aimed to modernize the brand logo, moving away from its outdated and overly complex design to embody a sense of modern luxury that better reflected its identity. Drawing inspiration from diamond and rhombus shapes, the new logo evoked a sense of luxury and sophistication. A color palette of burgundy, silver, and black added depth and elegance to the brand's visual identity. The typography reinforces the concept of modern luxury and timelessness across all brand elements. The concept of “owning the spotlight” was a central theme throughout the three social media posts, where photo editing techniques were used to capture the essence of attention when wearing an Oxxford suit. Clothing hang tags also emphasize the brand's premium quality and enhance visual appeal.
